i will share a comparision between vanilla and edited win11 after windows update is finished.. wait for 10-15mins, but yeah i think it was doing windows update
 
after updating win11 edited system, it completely installed everything back so its like stock win11 now handles are at 40000....

I actually got angry when everything installed back after update and removed the virtualmachienes..... because there were nothing left to compare... but i remember it was something like 39000 when system was idle before update.. and after update it was at 40000-41000 at idle.. doesnt matter much since they were not running at background

as someone who was trying a non-tpm version of 11. i will admit. it is very nice. all this new security stuff and all, tbh seems like major overkill to me. yes i know hackers etc are more sophisticated, and will do everything to get their way, but could microsoft just please come up with a WORKING os before unleashing it ? Im more than happy now, to stay on 10, and wait for 11 to fall flat on its face, because not everyone has the money to go buying new hardware all the time.

the wonderful errors i got were, and i kid you not....... alleged non memory installed, driver conflicts, non existant hard drive..... all that from a driver update.

ms "security" keeps everyone out except ms. more dch driver crap. 11 is gonna make 10 look like a decent os.
 
i reverted BACK to 10........... i was happy with it till it went bottoms up. very little in driver compatability for it, and definately buggy as hell. granted, it looks god, but as they said , until mythbusters proved me wrong............ you can't polish a turd
 
linux ............. is that still a thing ? i thought it went the way of windows ME.............

all joking aside, never used linux, doubt i could get around it. and seeing 11 is a free OS upgrade next month, global chip shortage etc, i think they should put it back a 12 month or so
 
there are those who swear by linux and there are those who swear at it.
problem with linux there are too many "me too" distro's all pulling in different directions.
with windows at least people are pulling in the same direction.
 
anyone who mentions React OS will be severely beaten to within an inch of their lives.
React OS has never been and will never be a viable alternative. its been around as long as ive been into computers and still isnt viable.
 
pulling their hair out, pulling their nails out............... components out, and eyes...............

maybe i should look at linux, as a backup plan. any suggestions for gaming ?
