GamerOS Windows 10 & 11 DIY Preset

W10/11 include .NET 4 by default, the only thing you can do is install the monthly .NET 4 update. .NET 3.5 is an on-demand feature, in case you have older apps which require it.
 
If I'm not mistaken the preset removes windows update which is necessary to download features on demand like .NET 3.5.

Well I think it's necessary but it needs testing, I remember drivers are not automatically downloaded and installed when windows update is removed so I've tied it to features on demand.

Indeed Windows Update is required.

Without this it is necessary to have the .cab file in \sources\sxs of the Windows ISO and integrate it manually with NTLite or Dism.

Features on demand are generally not downloaded without Windows Update. They need to be downloaded in another way and installed manually.

Hi all,
great job I love the work put in!
I have a question that I did not find the answer to yet. Just a Human as well :D

The latest Cumulative Update ( I think it is KB5022303) breaks the install.. F.e. searchbar dead, crappy performance and error codes all arround.

I assume its, as the creator already described, "An update that reverses the changes". But funnily enough I can't seem to find the ISO from MS that already includes this update.. And when trying to add it via NTLite it doesnt show there either. Tried playing around with components so that this update wouldn't install bloat again etc. but to no prevail sadly..
Is there a way to get around without killing off Windows Update? Or is the current only way to get around it to not install this Cumulative one ? Maybe there is something I missed :D Or maybe I am supposed to run the NTLite Config on the Live Windows install to remove and repair ?

you could get by without adding it to the iso for the moment as there are numerous reports of that specific update causing issues on many machines.

If you mean components returning when installing a cumulative update then there is no workaround.

Although you can use Tools -> Remove Reinstalls in NTLite on a live system.

I never thought I would remove the windows update but glad I did since Ntlite gives me the ability to choose what I went when I want it.

Can you please suggest some changes to fix bluetooth adapter and wifi networks solutions. They are not working although I installed all drivers.
 
Someone from here try to play Hogwarts with one of the presets I have mine OS personalized by me everything its good but the think is Hogwarts game crash at the start do you have any clue which service I need to active to play that game?
 
sorry no to put more info I play in epic platform the only report of crashing is this one

It is nothing to worry about, it is saying that a path that leads to the ps1 file in non existant. With that , all you have to do, if you already have the ps1 file, is re-direct it

Txmmy's preset has a work-in-progress PowerShell script to do more tweaking. It's optional for everyone.

Load the preset, and ignore the error. Look under Post-Setup -> User Execution (bottom window), and delete the line. Save this preset.
